All further practices will be at River Road Church, West Bend! 

Directions:

River Road Church is located on River Road, 1/4 mile North of HWY 33. 

The main intersection is where the West Bend St. Vincent De Paul is located. 

Look for a day care sign on the right hand side of the road. 

The church entrance is the first door. 

Remember Every Monday and Wednesday of March + a Friday Dress Rehearsal! Be sure these dates/times on your calendar!

T-Shirt Info.

Between The Poles T-shirts will be available for order. This is optional - you can choose if you'd like to purchase a T-shirt.

On Feb. 25th I should have the T-shirt design for you to view. 
The T-shirts will be short sleeve, Gildan- Heavy Cotton.                  The color is called Yellow Haze. 


We will start collecting information and money on Feb. 25th 
We need to know how many t-shirts and what size. 
Sizes are either standard Youth (S,M,L, XL) or Adult (S, M, L, XL, XXL). 

The cost per t-shirt will be $8.00. 
(either cash or check made out to H.I.S. Players) 

If you will not be at the Feb. 25th practice you can have a family member order for you OR please contact me through email and bring money to the next practice. I can email you the design when available.

On Monday February 25th we will be working some scenes and portions of scenes that I've noticed need some attention. 

Olivia will be coaching some scenes/portions of scenes at the same time I will be running other scenes/portions of scenes. If you worked with Olivia - I'll have you present the same scene(s) for me during the course of the practice.

Reminders for Practice

Girls - bring shorts and a tank/cami for trying on costumes!
Boys - if you play a WW2 character and have socks that have a thread mark from a previous H.I.S. Players year - bring them to practice
ALL - Bring homework, quiet activities to keep busy during down time
ALL - If you have prop items bring them to practice!

The H.I.S. Players 2019 Cast/Crew Directory has been printed and put out at practices - if you don't have one yet be sure to pick one up!

The Next 2 Practices!!!

Good evening! I hope you are all doing well!

I have formed lists of students who need to attend on the next two practices
Feb. 11th and Feb. 18th.  (Note: Some students will need to attend both.)

Be sure to practice your lines (and entrances & exits) on a daily basis!
Memorize, Memorize, Memorize!
We will be using scripts more for reference and recording in these weeks rather than for reading lines!!! 
(If you are off on the 11th - use it as time to memorize your lines - be prepared on the 18th!) 
I look forward to working more scenes, adding detailed blocking, and soon props!

Monday Feb. 4th

Hi Everyone! 

I've been working on plans for our Feb. 4th practice! Having last Monday as a snow day has changed a few of my plans. I was really looking forward to being with just the secondary characters for a practice!  I'm sorry guys, I wish that could've happened. 

Feb. 4th - ALL students are to attend! 

~Monday the 4th is the only practice day that Brenton is home from college and I have some specific scenes/portions of scenes that I need him to work with me with certain students.  So much time will be given to these areas. 

~The Costume Dept. has costumes for students to try on. (GIRLS REMEMBER TO BRING SHORTS AND A TANK TOP!) 

~There will be time for meeting in groups to run lines and quiz on entrances/exits! 
If you haven't already - read the previous posts and write your blocking in your script! 

~Students NEED TO BRING homework, a book to read, or quiet activity to do. There will be down time!
