PROP LIST


Please READ this list. These are the main props we need that H.I.S. Players doesn't already have or that can't be made for this show. The list will continue to be updated as items are brought it. 

If you have items that may be used as props please text/email a picture or bring the item(s) into practice. When you bring the item please make sure they are marked with your name so we can return it to you!

We are also looking for sandals (see previous post)
As well as fashion scarves. (long rectangle, square, and infinity)

newspaper bag 

tin can (worn vintage label)

sewing supplies (1940s sewing basket - small) 

basket (with handle, hold supplies for Papa)

books

stone (big enough for audience to see, small enough to fit in a pocket – needs to have sparkle)

Flashlight (1940s)

three swords (please explain/show pictures)

two shields (H.I.S. Players has one) 18 inches 

short ropes (soft as they are to tie wrists) 

three guns – WW2 (H.I.S. Players has 3?) may need some plastic/wooden hand guns?

●pocket knife (Papa has this on his person) 

●wool blankets (will be used on the floor)

ladles (H.I.S. Players has 1 – need 3)

journal (1940s)

bag (to hold jar, journal, etc.) 1940s school bag

palace curtains (blue, gold,) put up with over the door hooks  (show pictures) 

bottle of perfume (1940s)

buckets (tin pails)

tray (metal, gold or silver)

Biblical goblets or tumblers (metal, gold or silver – not glass)

tea cup (1900s)

small food barrel (needs to open)

long rope (tug o war)

mirror (will be hand held but for two people to look)

candelabra

bunch of seven herbs (artificial or dried – could look like seven)

short stools (2 of same height) 

basket of fruit (very decorative)

stick for beating rug

dice (wood or ivory look)

broom (1940s) 

knitting needles

old sweater that is unraveling

market baskets (1940s)
